the “success” of my beach towel has once again got me thinking about size and playing with dimension… i’m pleasantly entertaining the idea of a puzzle so massive it could never be finished. a community project with no end. i would love to be a constant part of something greater than myself such as this. i miss putting together puzzles with my family. sprawled for weeks on the dining room table, we would all join in and leave the effort at our leisure. sometimes i would work on it all on my own, but still feel as though it was a group endeavor. they sell the puzzle pictured above for around $300. it’s the largest commercial puzzle in the world with 32,256 pieces and measuring 17 feet by 6 feet. i kinda like that it’s of a Keith Haring too… maybe something like this.
