i am now saving up to get an image of a Sierpinski triangle on the inside of my upper right arm. it’s great how this .GIF makes it disappear as it continues to divide into threes. i loved the image before i knew what it was, both a fractal and attractive fixed set, and infinitely dividing at any size. the pattern has been seen all over the world, in many churches and cathedrals for centuries. add this to the duality of having upright and upside-down triangles within one image, and i’m now set on getting this in ink on me soon.
